Vicki Lynn (Trigg) George, 72, of Russellville, passed away Monday, June 10, 2025, at her home near Mill Creek. Cremation arrangements are being provided by the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
Visitation with the family will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Humphrey Funeral Chapel, with the memorial service at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Shane Chancellor. A private family burial will be at Mt. George Cemetery in Mt. George, Arkansas.
Vicki was born October 1, 1952 in Hector, Arkansas to the late William Henry Trigg and the late Ruth Christine (Coffman) Trigg. She was raised in Flint, Michigan, where she graduated from high school. She then moved to Arkansas, where she met Johnny George. They were married June 29, 1971, and their union would span almost 54 years. She was an employee and department manager at Dardanelle Walmart for 27 years.
She embraced life with enthusiasm and heart. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, raising and caring for chickens, and taking care of children. She was passionate about music and enjoyed traveling with friends and family. She was also a devoted Oklahoma City Thunder basketball fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her older brother, Keith Trigg; her older sister, Beverly Wilbanks; and her son, Dylan George.
Vicki is survived by her daughters, April (George) Bishop, and Wendy (George) Chancellor, both of Arkansas;, her sisters, Reta Yarnold (Richard), and Michelle Miller (Mark); her brothers, Bruce Trigg of Michigan, and Kevin Trigg (Kristen); a granddaughter, Anastasia (Coleman) Hill; three grandsons, Trey and Jordan Chancellor, and Kendall Bishop; three great-grandchildren, Hendrix and Mila Hill, and Kairo Chancellor; and many other relatives.
Vicki was a blessing to all who knew her. Her graceful elegance, sweet disposition, and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by her family and numerous friends.
The family requests that donations be made to the ALS Association (www.als.org) in lieu of flowers or gifts.
