I was a student of Dr Wasserman at Rowan
in 1977. I absolutely loved him. His course was so informative and yet entertaining. I was so impressed that I wrote a letter to Dr Chamberlain. After this Dr.
Wasserman sent me a small print that he had done as a thankyou. I treasure this, So sorry to here of your loss. The world lost a fine man

Thank you, Professor Wasserman, for your smiles, your humor, your encouragement, and the wonderful life you brought to your art history classes. I still remember how much Andrea Wheeler & I looked forward to your talks, and your encouraging words when I shared with you one of my projects. I just learned of your passing today. I'm proud to tell you that I'm still an artist to this day. God bless.

I worked with Burt for many years while in the press office at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Though we never met face-to-face, I had dozens of wonderful phone conversations with Burt, and I always came away having learned something new about art and feeling better in general about the world.

Burt was truly an original and a lovely human being. I will miss him.

Professor Wasserman: Thank you for sharing your talents and appreciation. Your class was alway one of my favorites! From the trip to the Smithsonian - to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to Wheaton - I continue to hear your lectures on the brilliance of the Masters at work. You helped so many of us appreciate the craftsmanship and continue to treasure that which we see every day. You are truly missed - Joanna Bruschi
