To the Family of Charles Jones,

This message comes after the Homegoing Service for your loved one. Just recently I learned that Charles passed away. Although we were not personal friends, I considered Charles a colleague to whom I was very close. Whenever he visited the central office or attended the principals' meeting; he always had his warm, winning personality wrapped in the lovely package of his captivating, lovely smile.

He was an intelligent, thoughtful man. He was a committed educator. He believed in the dignity and worth of others.

His colleagues respected him. We appreciated him. He was a gentleman.

Let Us Pray...

Eternal rest, grant unto him, O Lord
and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May he rest in peace. Amen.

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

To the family of Mr. Jones-
My partner and I treated Mr. Jones frequently for his dialysis care through exceptional medical. We were able to become recognized by his wife as we were at their house often, usually to bring him back from dialysis. She was always so appreciative and warm. Anyone who knew Mr. Jones as only a dialysis patient missed an opportunity to meet a great man. He helped my partner with tips for math to assist her daughter. He was particular but will always be one of my favorite individuals as I tried every encounter to make him laugh. He wasn't too impressed with the bad jokes but there were certainly times I got him to laugh- even if it was at my own expense. He paid my partner and I however the highest compliment anyone could as he suggested we train others on how to treat him. Always tough, always fair, always a great man despite lousy circumstances. We are sorry to hear of this passing. We wish the family only the best during this tumultuous time. ~ Drew Russell & Samantha Moore.

Carol you have my very deepest condolences for your loss. I know you will miss him but by our last conversation you indicated to me that he was at peace and looking forward to being with the Lord without any more struggling and free of pain but wanted you and the boys to be okay with his decision. I know you will because you're a strong woman. I hope to see you soon.

I had the pleasure and opportunity of being a football teammate at Cheyney University where we became friends. Sincere condolences to his family.
