Nana used to invite George and George Patrick and Mary and Joe to visit. She helped the children find the treats they liked in her cabinets and fridge. She especially enjoyed describing the art in her home to Mary while Georgie tried to play the piano. Mary still has her "Nanny Bear" that Nana gave her when she was a baby; she takes it to sleepovers and hospitals etc. Nana and Mary also had a special connection through cards and letters of which Nana knew the perfect etiquette. Peace be with Nana's spirit and with her family who is mourning her, Love Dawn, Dan (Chester), Mary and Joe Burfeind.

Betty was our neighbor at Lavender Court in Village Greenes. She was so kind, with a gentle spirit. She made us feel welcome when we moved in 7 years ago. I always enjoyed our chats in the driveway. May she rest in peace.
