Carol Taggart
AGE: 72 • Magnolia
On June 15, 2017, (nee Marquardt) of Magnolia, NJ, age 72. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald E. Taggart and dear daughter of mother Emma and late father Carl Marquardt, loving mother of Michelle Cooper (Bill), Carolyn McLean (Bill) and loving grandmother of Jillian, Kevin, Steven, Kayleigh and Colin. She is also survived by her dear brother Robert Marquardt, his wife Karen and their children Laura and Brian. Carol was born and raised in Gloucester City and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1963. Carol was strong-willed and determined with a colorful personality. She loved animals, especially her pond fish, gardening, and going to the casinos. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Carol's Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers her family would appreciate memorial donations be made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053. I knew Carol from my own days at GHS...I think the one feature of Carol that stands out in my mind is her smile. And her laughter! I graduated in 1962 and didn't see her again until one day at Rite-Aid in Barrington where she was working at the time several years ago. I never knew her family but one doesn't have to know someone personally to understand their feelings at such sad times. My prayers are with all of you. May God rest her soul.
