I think of Dave often. During the 4th of July Celebration, my (grown) children and I reminised about the times we went places and did things with Dave - fishing, the Zoo, the snow, dinners at places I was not able to take them or was not aware of. Birthdays, Christmas,.... He brought several sets of musical lights for our Christmas Tree one year. I still have and use them. He must have always been comfortable with us as he always dresssed in jeans and a nice shirt, even when we went to the Pub. He often brought his favorite wine to my house for dinner. He always sent me the craziest birthday and Christmas cards. Although we didn't share much contact in 2017, I will miss him forever.

Two years after David's passing, I still miss him as we were friends for so many years. Both of us being Vietnam veterans, it so hard with so many of our brothers dying from the effects of agent orange and natural causes. Having survived so much and yet great soldiers like David are gone now.

David and I were friends since age 4. We lived across the street from each other. We renewed out friendship a few years ago. Dave and I would play for hours when we were kids and my mom always marveled how we got along. Never a fight, argument or an unkind word. He was a gentle person. Both of us survived Vietnam and I will miss him so much, we were lifelong friends. Dave is at rest now. May his family be at peace and be blessed in spite of his passing. It has been so hard on me. Dave was so worried about my surgery and yet he passed. May his memory and service continue

I am so shocked. I have so many memories from 1966 when we met until a couple of weeks ago when we last spoke. Dave was a kind, generous, giving man. My children and I enjoyed so many fun times with him. They grew up knowing him and loving him. I don't know if I can drive up on Thursday or not, but I will try. My love to all his family. God bless.

I will miss cbirthday celebration dinners at the PUB, and movies at my house or his. Mostly I will miss hearing his voice on the phone and knowing he will answer if I phone him.
