So sorry Denise and Michael. It was a pleasure to have known your parents and to have attended gatherings in their home at Eastertime. God be with you both and remember all the good times you had with your dad.

Growing up in Cramer Hill, with Uncle George and Uncle Lou living close by, and Grandmom and Grandpop a few blocks from my home, it was a pleasure and an honor to grow up with my Mother's side of the family. i fondly remember all the Family reunions i attended with Fest families, and the memories will never fade.
Uncle George and Aunt Joan put my wife and myself up when i brought her and my infant daughter up to Jersey from Savannah, and my wife still talks about what a fine couple they were.
Uncle George will be missed.

My memories of my Uncle George will always be in my heart. He and my Aunt Joan always made my family so welcome in their home and when I grew up and had my two sons, he welcomed them also and he took my oldest under his wing and showed him what a great man can be. I will always love him for the care he gave to Ryan in particular and the fun Ryan had while in his care. His Christmas gatherings were the best, I looked forward to them every year. His laugh was contagious. He was such a great soul. I will love him and miss him always. His Niece Cynthia Vandergrift.
