Very sorry to read about the passing of Sam Natal. He was a pleasant and capable attorney. I think that we met when he defended one of the people that I convicted of participation in the $1 million robbery of the Atlantic City Post Office in the late 1970's. I know that his family was proud of him and will miss him. I hope that they take comfort in their memories of him.

Dear Mrs. Natal, Keira & Allison - I am so sorry to learn of Judge Natal's passing. My year as his law clerk continues to powerfully impact my professional career, but it is his friendship and kindness throughout the years that I will also remember fondly. Having lunch with him each day during my clerkship helped me learn the ethics and judgment that I have applied throughout my legal career. And to this day, even at Apple which has a casual dress policy, I put on my jacket when I go to lunch as an honor to him. His love for each of you has also served as one of my many role models for how to be a husband and father (and hopefully someday, grandfather). His love of sailing and model trains also helped teach me that we should all have hobbies and interests that let us forget our jobs when we're away from the office. You are all in my prayers. May he rest in peace.
