I was a 15 year old girl when Irwin and Maxi hired me in 1967! I worked with them on and off for the next 7 years until I graduated from Villanova University and joined the Navy Nurse Corps. His friendship and mentoring were pivotal in my life and I often relate my successful career to those wonderful days at Bell Pharmacy. I am so very sorry for your (and my) loss. Irwin was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Sending you Christmas cards each year gave me a sense of joy and connection with him through the years. I will miss him terribly. My family and I send you all the love, prayers, and wishes for comfort.

God bless you.

I was fortunate to meet Irwin as a young girl in New York City. He was my father's first cousin and as an only child he took me to every family member's funeral. We metwith Irwin on numerous sad occasions and I told him at 10 years old how I hated funerals but loved that I'd gotten to know and see him. 2 years later Irwin hosted the family reunion where he put us all together. It's been many years and the love I have for this man is unexplainable.......But sending all I have thinking of his family today

I remember Irwin and the whole Bell Drug family from Parkside when we all lived there. He was a lovely sweet man, and particularly so when he was so good to my friend Dee Phillips and her children as her neighbor in Woodcrest.
My condolences
