Len was a 4th degree member of the K of C.
He was one of the best men in every way that I have ever had the privilege to get to know.
The world is a better place thanks to Len.
I pray to god for letting me get to know Len.
I miss him. And always will.

Len will remain one of my most unforgettable characters. I first met Len in 1988 when I joined K of C Holy Family Council. Since I was travelling for work and could not make the monthly meetings, we lost touch. Low and behold while I was attending Mass at Our Lady of Grace, Len was out front of church recruiting prospective KofC members at the request for our pastor, Father Tom. It was really nice to see him again and he got me back into the Knights; a point I never let him forget. I last saw him on Memorial Day on the Battleship NJ where I reminded him again that he got me back in. He always gave me a big hug, which I will miss.

My condolences to his family.

Len was a sweet, kind and helpful first boss for my 14 year old daughter Dede. She collected weekly from all the C.P. carriers in the Medford area. Len would stop by every Friday to pick up the collections. He would chit-chat, smile, and put her at ease with his easy conversation. As a parent, I so appreciated his caring approach. He will be missed.
PS. That 14 year old is now 48.

Sincerely

Mary Beckett
