I considered Mrs. Lummis a dear friend throughout my years at Collingswood. I helped in the nurses' office and would frequently stop in to say hello to Mrs. Lummis and Mrs. Lindoerfer throughout the week. She was always gracious and endearing. I'm grateful that our paths crossed.

Mrs. Lummis was a friend to every student at Collingswood. She was a compassionate and caring nurse, no matter what issues we students brought to her, whether big, small or bogus.

Thank you for your years of dedication and commitment to our health!

To my dear Mrs. Lummis. I thank you for all the years you led us in Brownies and Girl Scouts. You were very dear to me and helped shape my life. Your family is in my prayers. Sincerely, Maryann Litwak McKenzie
