I also had Miss Kriebel in 4th grade at Stella Maris in Philadelphia. She is my favorite teacher ever. She taught well, had an abundance of patience, and was so very generous. She gave us the best holiday parties right in the classroom and even treated me to the Ice Capades on a Sat afternoon at the Spectrum. I just can't say enough about her. A wonderful lady.

I remember her being a 4th grade teacher, and that we only had the pleasure of having her teach us science.
I also remember that she sacrificed herself for her younger siblings when they lost their parents.
What a wonderful person she was!
Surely she is now in heaven!
Deepest sympathyto her very large family!

For all the thousands of people who were in my life I never forgot her.As my 4th grade teacher I gave her a run for her money. We were having a test and of course I was not prepared for so I had an ingenious plan at lunch I caught a bunch of grasshoppers and put them in a box and right before test time I released them into the room well after the insuring craziness and clean up I was sent across the hall for accountability.I'm thinking how did she know I did it but as a struggling student she had the time for me and my parents worked with me and helped me get to grade 5. What I never forgot was how she cared so much about her students.. Goodbye Mary Anne Kriebel from someone who never forgot you and never will

My condolences to Ms Kriebel's family. I had Ms Kriebel in 4th grade at Stella Maris School in South Philadelphia and she was one of my favorites. She was always kind and encouraged me to try new things ( try out for a school play). She also taught me reverence for the Blessed Sacrament. May she rest in eternal peace ❤
