as much as i would have like to have met my great uncle mike, i have heard so much about him through my aunts and my mom, annie, patricia and ruthie, the daughters of anna starkey. each of them called him during the week and kept in touch with him on a regular basis. his passing was sudden and my condolences are passed on to all of his family a and friends. may he rest in peace.

Michael was the nicest man I ever met. However once he met Pat he became a man who was full of love and kindness to everyone. His eyes were always sparkling and there was always a smile on his face. This was not just something that Mike just felt but it was something Mike just showed but the same thing happened to Pat. THIS WAS A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN ! And what they felt for one another made those around them could feel that love that they had for each other. Mike will be surely missed but we must remembered how happy he was for the last three years of his life since he was with Pat. Since he came to VCRC he never left the building or got involved in any activities but all that changed once he got involved with the love of his life. He also was a man who loved his family and was very trusting and generous. Without doubt we must all know that he is now with Our Lord celebrating the glorious splendors of Heaven. I loved you and will miss you my friend.
