To the family of Phyllis and Sammy. Len and I had the pleasure of their friendship here in Roadhaven from 2005 until they left. They were a wonderful couple and they always had a smile and kind word for everyone. I so enjoyed my time with Phyllis in the Art Club and she was so generous with her time and talent. Len thoroughly enjoyed Sammy out in the ballfields. Our thought are with you at this difficult time. They will be missed by all who knew them.

Mom mom I am so grateful I was able to tell you I loved one more time when my mom held the phone to your ear. Thank you for making my mom the strong person she is today. I'll always remember Christmas Eve. I will miss you always.
Love,
Troy

Unforgettable..... daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
There was never anything or anyone who/that could stop her once she set her mind to something. That was evident in the many, many jobs she had throughout her life. It was evident in the 62 years she had with dad. It was evident in the way she raised her children.
Her love of her husband, as she worked next to him in her job at one point, raising us, many hours of labor put into their house. whether it was laying bricks, tile, hardwood floors, making window treatments, she jumped right in and did it. After being with dad for over 60 years, he had a stroke and mom cared for him 24/7 with all her love!
We, her four children always knew she was there for us. Losing a child, no matter what age proved to be heart wrenching but she stayed strong for all of us around her. Bringing the family together, especially on Christmas Eve was a must! All of her children and grandchildren looked forward to the "Feast of Seven Fishes"!
Dee, John, and I so wanted Mom to be able to do the things that made her happy after dad passed. To be able to get involved in art again, in many other clubs and functions in LeisureTowne. She really wanted to go back to their beloved Roadhaven, AZ. She wanted to spend time with the many friends they made over the past 20 years. Those things would prove not to be, as she went to join dad.
As Dee held her hand, she told her she would not let go until dad took her hand...... Mom left us but not without making all left behind stronger because of the love and strength she showed us throughout her life. Forever Loved, Forever Missed

May we extend our heartfelt sympathy to your family. May the words of Jesus at John 14:27 bring peace to you.
