We miss Phil....our visits with him and Alice were always wonderful. Pinochle games were fun, and Phil´s generosity was always in the forefront. Such a sweet, kind man.

Dear Mrs. T and Matt, I have been away and was just told today of Mr. T's passing. Such a brave and wonderful man to everyone who met him! He was always very happy and proud to tell me of your trips and how well you and Matt played tennis. His garden was also always a good conversation and we were the recipients of some fine Jersey tomatoes! I will think of him with love and good memories of the wonderful man he was to me. Thinking of all of you and wishing comfort and peace.

While I did not know Phil very well, I was very fortunate to have met him and shared special moments during several Sterling High School class reunions where I met Alice back in 1960. Phil was a very quiet and gentle man, spoken highly of by those who spent precious time with him.. Alice spoke often of their times together at the casinos. My heart and prayers go out to Alice and their family during these trying times. God be with you.

Pete and I were blessed to have known Phil. Alice and I have been friends since 5th grade. We were delighted to meet Phil when they came down for an overnight stay and subsequent visits after. He loved Pinochle and we enjoyed several games with him and Alice. He was a generous man who liked to present thoughtful gifts....above all, he was truly a gentle, kind soul. We shall miss him.
