I was fortunate enough to know "Iggy" when 30 of us formed the Knights of Columbus Council at Our Lady of Grace. He was always fun to be around. I will always remember one of the years we were there that we had a breakfast with Santa. I substituted for Lou Mueller since he was sick for the first time I played Santa. The unfortunate part was that I was also a Eucharistic Minister and had to serve the 12PM mass. I helped him get into the costume and he stepped in for me and assumed the role of "Bad Santa": that was the persona that he wanted.
His memory will never die to those who knew him. My condolences to his family and friends.
