JOHN L. BUHRMAN, JR
AGE: 85 • Washington Twp, NJ
On April 7, 2017, of Washington Twp, NJ age 85. He was the loving father of John L. Buhrman, III (Tina) of Franklinville and Lynnette Myland (Michael) of Galloway Twp. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren, Shawn McGaurn, Justin Bada, Michelle & Valerie Myland, John L. Buhrman IV and his lifelong friends Edith McCarson, Barb Summerell and the Senior Debate Club from McDonalds in Washington Twp. John was a member of Collingswood Cloud Lodge 101 F&M for 50 years, and a member of Shriners' International. He graduated Collingswood High in 1949. Teachers never know the impact they make, but with only Mr. Johnson's high school Physics, John was able to tutor his daughter to excellence in college Physics 101 and 102. He built one of the first solar heat and hot water homes in the country 40 yrs ago. He always had time to help anyone in need. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. John's Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you call your local school and pay off a student's overdue lunch account, or make a memorial donation to Shriners' Hospital for Children, Phila. PA.
