I will always remember Mrs. Virginia Flick very fondly. She was my 4th grade teacher at Barclay School who gave us high standards to follow including her excellent diction, pride in good work, and directions on how to behave. She had a kind and loving heart. I was fortunate to keep in touch with her until about 20 years ago. She gave me gifts for my children and a warm, penetrating smile that I will never forget. God bless her soul. Our world was a better place with her in it, no question.

I am so sadden to see this. Mrs Flick tutored me through my elementary school years and later help me feel comfortable at Cherry Hill West. My mother always credited her with developing my handwriting and reading skills.

Aside from tutoring me, she was like a 2nd mother, inviting me to stay at her house several times.

I fondly remember spending time with her husband, Joe, watching ballgames on the porch, swimming in her pool and playing with her dog, Babe, and Tuffy the cat, as well.
She had an absolute heart of gold and will be surely missed by myself and all the other students she touched over the years.

What a superior lady and teacher Ginny was. She was so loved for all her contributions to the West community and to the many children she served and loved. May she rest in peace with Joe. I fondly remember her and how she and Joe prayed together at the Queen of Heaven Roman Catholic Church in Cherry Hill. Many others remember Joe having been the leader in the Erlton Civic Community Center. May they both rest in peace. Jeanne Kiefner RN West faculty....
