Mr. McRae used to substitute for our classes at Signature. He was a treasure, and we loved to see him in the building. We loved him for his captivating storytelling, his witty retorts, his kindness, his service to our country, and most of all, for his authenticity. My prayers are and will continue to be with your family. Thank you for sharing your husband, father, and grandfather with all of us who were fortunate enough to know him.

I had Mr. McRae for homeroom and for Word Power.
I still use today some of the skills that I learned then.
He will be missed.

My condolences to Mr. McRaes Family.
He was my favorite teacher at Tell City High. He was always enthusiastic about his teaching. He prepared me to be a good student in college and later on, he inspired to be the type of teacher he was. May God be with you in this sorrowful time and hold you in the palm of His Hand!
