So sorry to hear
She was one of the best teachers I ever had but gosh her tests were hard.
I could take that class seven years in a row and never get an A.

I graduated from St. Benedict in 1995. I was the youngest of four, all taught by your Mom. My mom taught at St. Ben's and Memorial
(Mrs. Nimnicht). Mrs. Daniel was an excellent educator, dedicated Speech Team Coach, and one of the most intelligent people I’ve ever known. I think about her often, wishing everyone could have a teacher and coach of her caliber. She helped me find my voice and refine my public speaking. She taught me the English language and instilled a drive in me to want to succeed. She was a force, and we are better people because she taught us. May God cover you in comfort, knowing hers was a life well lived.

I’m so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. She was a very special lady. Some of my very favorite memories of college and being a Chi Omega included Doris in them.

Mrs. Daniel was an amazing, tough, fair, compassionate person and teacher. When I said "jist enough" she would respond with "do you put mistard on your hotdog?" Her witty quotes will stick with me.
