Dorothy Faye Williams, 90, of Poseyville, Indiana, born to Richard Earl and Marie Samantha (Rankin) Hayden on November 22, 1927, in Poseyville, Indiana, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at Premier Healthcare of New Harmony, Indiana.
She graduated from Poseyville High School in 1945 and was a member of the Poseyville Christian Church. She was a homemaker and worked at North Elementary in the cafeteria and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Stars.
Surviving are a son: F. Kevin (Roxie) Williams of Wadesville, Indiana; daughter: Cathie (George) Browne of Terre Haute, Indiana; 6 grandchildren: Katelyn (Don) Williams, Kyle (Andrea) Williams, Seth (Kiersten) Williams, Darren (Jennifer) Browne, Patrick (Meghan) Browne and Daniel (Kristen) Browne; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Forrest Gene Williams; son: Ronald Williams; sister: Vera Hammond and brothers: Robert, Vernon and Don Hayden.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in Saulmon Cemetery near Poseyville, Indiana.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Saulmon Cemetery or the Poseyville Christian Church.
