Beth E. (Helfrich) Flathers, 59, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Linda White Hospice House.
Beth was born on September 27, 1959 in Evansville to Robert R. and Carol Will Helfrich.
Beth had been employed in the medical field and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1977 and was a member of 80 Acres Conservation Club.
Beth is survived by her husband of 12 years, Dennis; three daughters, Krista (Branden) Lemmons, Kendra (David) Horken and Kaylee Flathers; two sons, James Weinzapfel and Dennis (Leann) Flathers. Also surviving are two sisters, Bobbi (Michael) Weinzapfel and Lori (Brannon) Polk and one brother, Charles, (Debbie) Helfrich and grandchildren, Blaine Lemmons, Kurt, Daniel and Melody Horken.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Sophie Lemmons.
Private services and burial will be held at a later date.

Only knew Beth from 1st grade to 8th grade at st Boniface. So very kind and sweet. Everyone loved her. I was blessed by just knowing her and being part of each others lives through our first years of life. Thank you Beth! glad you had such a wonderful family. See you someday again.

For My Friend Beth,I am lighting this candle representing Beth's life including countless great memories we had the opportunity to share with each other.Bless her heart,there were so many endless times of her cherishing her grandchildren ,"Blaine",she was honored every day of being able to teach him at home while her daughter worked,I think your nana spoiled you rotten but she always made sure he got his daily activities accomplished in teaching your motion skills even down to his mobile skills ,she really enjoyed babysitting you guys an cherished every moment of studied accomplishments with Blaine,He was like her right foot and buddy she was tickled pink about it too,She loved her children wanting the girls to be closer to home and the boys ,one serving in the armed forces,oh how proud she was of this with him but also Leary of what it could bring him danger,And Dennis,oh my dearest Dennis,she adored and lovedher husband so very much,always wondering if she had inconvenienced him with her off days always concerned about others more than anything,she loved you so much she worried about you and your back non stop and most of all of being able to sit and talk to you about anything she was proud ,very proud of the way you guys could communicate between one another,and she was so happy to call you her best friend ,she had the sweetest heart,a heart of gold ,we may have had our ups and downs but we did consider to each other at one time of being best friends,shared a lot of summer days with her and Dennis and my father at the apartments,walks over to the lake with the dog look a like "Toto",keeping the pain out of her legs we would walk,her brother she loved so very much,she worried so much about him constantly,you were always on her mind,and she was always worried about her sisters,the one had had beat the odds and overcome such a difficult surgery she was always worried about her doing too much or needing her and her not being able to help when maybe she needed her ,if I'm not correct please excuse me,she spoke of things that keot her secind guessing these situations in her life of why's what's and maybes sometimes babies n,also,her daddy,oh how she missed him so,I gather she was a daddy's girl,now they can once again reunite,with her parents,may you rest in peace my friend ,I'm sure going to miss you girl,damn it,I'm so sorry,I'm so sorry Bethe,---We sure did share some great memories,sheded a few years,and we were there for one another ,and I'm honored to say I had the pleasure of sharing the most important things with you in your life,cut way too short my friend,no more hurting ,MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU SHE LOVED EVERYBODY AND CARED ABOUT YOU GUYS SOO MUCH SHE WAS VERY KENE ON QUALITY TIME WITH HER FAMILY AND DENNIS FAMILY THAT WAS THE MOST IMOIRTANT THING TO BETH WAS FAMILY,FRIENDS,HELPING WHOEVER MIGHT OF NEEDED IT SHE COULD HELP,GOD BLESS YOU GUYS IN THIS MOST TRAGIC OBSTACLE TO HAVE TO ENDURE IN YOUR LIVES,YOU WILL BE IN OUR PRAYERS,,TIL WE MEET AGAIN MY FRIEND ,ALL MY LOVE JULIE AND DON WHITE
