May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I began working alongside Mike Titzer as a teenager in the spring of 1989. As luck would have it, I would occasionally find myself working directly with Mike as his partner in the Fabrication department. At first impression, he was a quiet, stern man with an impenetrable shell he kept for protection against outsiders. Although he was 12 years my senior, we shared many of the same thoughts and beliefs which soon led to us becoming incredibly close friends. It wasn't long before we were spending hours at a time working on trucks, fishing, mudding or taking off into the wind on our Harleys. I came to know Mike as a brilliantly humorous man with a wicked wit topped only by his talent as an artist and musician. I am eternally grateful that Mike and I crossed paths the way we did over 30 years ago. A large part of who I am today slowly evolved from his wisdom and his surprisingly nurturing ways. To me, the world will be just a little less bright, a little more confusing and a little less funny for a very long time.
Mike never wanted to be acknowledged for things he was good at and he certainly never claimed to be good at anything. It was just his personality. The truth is, he was very good at almost everything he did. I happen to know from experience that his greatest talent was turning those around him into better people.

I worked with Mike for nearly 30 years and can say he was a good friend and skilled co-worker. Mike had a great sense humor. He was a good Union Brother. I will remember Mike fondly. I send my condolences to his family.
