Marvin Louis Bruner, 74, of Boonville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Marvin was born in Lynnville, Indiana on May 31, 1944 to the late Garvin and Marie (Gisselman) Bruner.
He was an active member of Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church and the Mt. Gilead Lighthouse Society. Marvin had worked for Wilkinson's in Boonville and retired in 2002 from Squaw Creek Mine. He enjoyed going to car shows in his 48 Chevy 5 window pickup. Marvin was a member of Strangers Rest Masonic Lodge #240, Hadi Temple and the Warrick County Motor Patrol.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Bruner in 1981; Step-son, Troy Dillingham in 1991; Sister, Barbara Bruner in 2011; Nephew, Patrick Bruner in 2014.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Bruner of Boonville, IN; Children, Debbie Hill and her husband, Bruce of Boonville, IN; Richard Bruner of Boonville, IN; Donna McKinney of Evansville, IN; Kristin Ehrhart and her husband, Dan of Boonville, IN; Grandchildren, Ashley Campbell, Brandon Hill, Clinton Hill, Amanda Bruner, Megan Rech, Jessica McKinney, Emily, Austin and Clara Ehrhart; 10 Great-grandchildren and 1 on the way.
Services are 2 P.M. Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana with Rev. John Swain and Rev. Bill Tennyson officiating. Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Visitation is from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Saturday, August 11, 2018 and from 12 P.M. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. A masonic service will be held at 6 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Gilead Lighthouse Society.
