Paula Sue Cooper
Evansville, Ind.
Paula Sue Cooper, 55, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center.
Paula was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 3, 1962 to the late Robert and Mary (Barnett) Siggers. While working as a laborer, she was a member of #561 Local Labor Union. Paula enjoyed camping, fishing, driving around, and watching crime shows. She was an avid softball player and loved cooking. Paula was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Paula is survived by her sons, Ricky Holstein (Gwen) of Evansville, IN and Bryan Cooper (Abby Dugan) of Evansville, IN; sister, Becky Blake of Newburgh, IN; brother, George Siggers (Donna) of Elberfeld, IN; grandchildren, Lexus Holstein, Ricky Holstein III and Amelia Cooper; nephews, Andy Dyer and Chris Cooper; and numerous other extended family members.
Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Cooper; her parents; brother, Terry Siggers; and nephews, Jason Dyer and Robby Siggers.
A celebration of Paula's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Ray Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and CNA's at Cypress Grove for all the care, compassion and love shown to Paula.
