I am so sad to learn of the passing of Sister Sharon Marie. She had a very positive influence on me during my formative years at St. Wendel Grade School. She was my sixth grade teacher and my volleyball coach for several years. I'll always remember going to see "The Sound of Music" with Sister Sharon Marie. It was her favorite movie and my first time in a theater to see one of the greatest movies ever made. I'll always cherish these memories with one of the best teachers and role models of my life. Rest in peace, Sister.

Prayers for the family and many friends of Sister Sharon Marie. She was the only principal I knew while a student at St. Wendel. She was my volleyball coach and during my "middle school years" I rode with her and Sister Irma to every Sunday game at Mater Dei. I have fond memories of those days. Sister Sharon Marie could be stern, but first thing that comes to mind is her smile and her laugh. My heart goes out to you.
