Troy Michael DeGeralomo
Troy Michael DeGeralomo, age 56, of Ansonia, CT, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford, CT, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 19, 1961, in Bridgeport, CT, son of the late Fred and Barbara Ferris DeGeralomo. Troy never lost his sense of humor and upbeat personality. He enjoyed watching ice hockey and NASCAR racing, and especially time spent playing with his two Chihuahuas, Gigi and Monster, and his cat, Kit Kat. Troy is survived by his loving wife Penny Tyler DeGeralomo, the love of his life and soulmate, his daughter Sarah, grandchildren Hannah and Jaxon, and his stepmother Anne Tomatore DeGeralomo. To share his memory, Troy leaves many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. One friend in particular, Joe Wargo, for his understanding and kindness throughout the years. At Troy's request there will be no calling hours and interment will be at the convenience of the family.

I would like to thank all my friends and family for their years of support before and after Troy's illness. He was also fortunate to have a loving and caring wife. On January 2, we had a private memorial mass for Troy said by Father Chris which was lovely. We wish to thank everyone for their sympathy cards, mass cards, messages in the guest book of the Ct. Post and gifts which were greatly appreciated.Rest in peace Troy with your mother and father who loved you unconditionally and with my family and friends who feel your loss.

Dear Penny, it seems like just yesterday when we enjoyed your wedding at 500 Blake St. Sadly the time has passed too quickly and you did not have as many years together as I would have hoped. Take heart that you filled Troys life with as much love as possible and his days were so much better because of you. May your days be filled with as much peace as possible. Love
