Currivan, Therese
Therese (Langevin) Currivan, age 95, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Thomas K. Currivan, died Thursday February 14, 2013. Mrs. Currivan was born in, Island Pond, Vermont. She lived in Rumford, Maine for many years, she was the youngest of 13 children. She was a retired school teacher, having taught at St. Charles Grammar school in Bridgeport. Mrs. Currivan was a graduate of the University of Southern Maine.She was a member of the National Honor Society. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 7 brother's and three sister's. Survivors include three sons; John Currivan and his wife Kathie, Thomas Currivan and his wife Michele and Timothy Currivan and his wife Wendy. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday March 2, at 10:00 am at St. Margaret Mary R.C. Church, Shelton. Burial will be private . Donations in her memory may be made to VITAS Hospice, 99 Hawley Lane, Stratford, CT 06614. Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave, Bridgeport is in care of arrangements

So very sorry for your loss....your mother was certainly witness to much change throughout her lifetime. One can only imagine. I do believe raising you three boys (with all that involved) and watching you grow into men with your families contributed to her long life...thoughts and prayers are with you all...Bridget
