Carlsbad - Jane Dominguez, 82, of Alvarado Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her home.

Jane (Martin) Dominguez was born on June 2, 1938 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to James G. "Jim" Martin and Dolores "Lola" (Hernandez) Martin.

She was preceded in death by her sons: Albert Dominguez and John Montez; daughter Katrina Dominguez; both parents; brother Jimmy H. Martin; sister Sandra Martin and grandson Reno Love Dominguez.

Jane is survived by her husband Adalberto G. "Beto" Dominguez; sons: Donny Dominguez (Yvette), Ernie Dominguez (Kim), Tim Dominguez (Brenda) and Frank Dominguez (Amy); sister Corine Sanchez; 18 grandchildren: Josh Hernandez, Annette Dominguez, Alexia Dominguez, Smurf Dominguez, Elia Dominguez, Quay Dominguez, Tarah Dominguez, Dyllan Dominguez, Trevor Dominguez, Tyler Dominguez, Eli Barnes, Justin Barnes, Timbo Dominguez, Albe Dominguez, LeShay Dominguez, Hunter Navarrette, Ezekiel Dominguez, Frankie Dominguez, Jr., Jason Montez, Nathan Gonzalez and Damian Gonzalez: 14 great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Alexander and Penelope Hernandez, Juliette Dominguez, Jonah, Jasper and Juniper Rostro, Chloe Dominguez, Jackson Moore, Devin, Camryn, Tylar, Timothy and Zia Dominguez.

A cherished wife, mother and grandmother you are and were….. and will forever be. You loved us throughout a lifetime and we'll love you throughout eternity. As children and grandchildren, you were our mom and grandma and our strength. The force upon which we relied, you helped us grow through life's laughter and tears and you always stood by our side. You were so strong and worked so hard to take care of us. Hours spent… such time we can't comprehend! You proved your faithful devotion to us. Your commitment only grew with grandchildren and great-grandchildren; you helped them, played with them and loved them as only a grandmother can do. Wife, mother and grandmother, we love you! We find we cannot do enough to express the depths of our gratitude for your sacrifice and your love. Best trust that you'll be remembered in sweetest memories every day. For you have blessed our lives forever through your goodness, love and strength!

Rosary for Jane will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Father Juan Carlos Ramirez will be the celebrant and attendance will be limited. Interment will follow at Carlsbad Cemetery (old section). Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Wednesday at West Funeral Home. Visitation will be limited to 5 people at a time and facial coverings are required at all services.
