Amy and I were roommates at Mount Holyoke, and we reconnected later when she moved to the Southwest. She stayed with me in Tucson for a little while in the late 1980s. I am sad to hear the news of her passing and wish I had stayed in better touch with her - we had important things in common. The photo included in this listing really captures her! I hope she had a good life and many friends in Farmington.

My deepest condolence goes out to the family during this difficult time. May God provide you with the strength and comfort you need as you cope with your loss. (Psalms 9:9)

A candle for you my dear friend, I am so saddened to hear of your passing. You had such an understanding of so many things, I will surely miss you! May you rest in peace Amy.

What I remember most about Amy is that she was one to tell you what she thinks and feels...if I did something that did not meet with her approval..she didn't hesitate to tell me so.

She had been thinking about joining an online dating site and I helped her put some make up on and curl her hair for a picture and I took several photos before she picked one to upload. She didn't think any of the photos were pretty enough to get a man to notice her. She registered on match.com and downloaded a photo she selected. Later that day she called me to say that within 10 minutes of being on that site she had someone ask her on a date. She was excited and looked forward to being more social and less isolated.

Unfortunately, I erased her photos from my camera and disc. I wish I hadn't of done that now.
