I Cruzan Nichols had the privilege of graduating with Darrell, I was his hands and help exercise his legs, I was 8 months pregnant when we graduated, he gave me rides on his wheelchair to class, until we started popping wheelie, ,my heart heart so much, that I was not here or knew until three weeks ago, my love to Margret and Kids, your Daddy is looking at ALL OF US, He was A Angel and inspiration to me...never forgotten...

When you were a baby and in so much pain, I would play with you and tickle you with my hair. When you got older, you pulled my hair....and I pulled yours back! LOL! My last memory of you, I kissed your brow and hair and said goodbye. I love you so much, little brother, and I will miss you until we meet again on the other side.

Margie and Family, we are so very sorry to hear about Darrell ! We well remember those years at Blanco Elementary working with him in the classroom, and getting acquainted with Margie as she began helping on the bus. Darrell had quite a personality, happy and so positive. He was a joy to have in our lives, along with his parents! We have lost a wonderful example of perseverence and commitment despite physical conditions! Our prayers are with you all, but we know he is in such joy now.....AND FINALLY WALKING!!!
