I'm sorry that I missed your mother's service. I worked with her as the school nurse at Hughston and always appreciated her support. She was a very special lady and always wanted the best for all of her students and staff. My prayers are with all of her family.

Jacque was my first principal in Plano at Hughston Elementary. She was my secret pal that year and treated my sons and me like royalty. She would never take credit for all the surprises she sent to me that year! Now she knows that I know and treasure what she did for us. What a thoughtful, professional, fun-loving lady! Every time I see luminarios at holiday time, I think of Jacque. She made me what I am today....a very proud lady to have had the joy of working in PISD for so many wonderful children and educators. I want her family to know how much we loved her, too! God's peace to you all.

Life is a journey. Jacqueline--I knew her as Jackie in Cooley Grade School and Ysleta High School--had a wonderful one on this earth. I am sure it will continue. God bless all those who loved her.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Jacque - your mother, grandmother, friend. She was such a vibrant person who cared about others, especially the children she interacted with. As an educator she was a mentor to many of us who followed her footsteps into a principalship. We always knew that we could turn to Jacque for sound advice. She also made shared experiences into fun-filled memories. While her light no longer shines here on earth, I'm certain that she is adding a new glow to Heaven.

May the Lord bless and keep her,
may His light shine upon her
and may you, her family, be held tenderly in the palm of His hands
as you celebrate her life.
