Our deepest sympathies for family and friends. He was a lifesaver with our house many times. We either chatted about family or plumbing and he was sure proud of his family. He was a good man that will be missed by many for many reasons.

Rick was one of the "good guys". He managed to always show up when we had an unplanned "water or poo" emergency. He did so much for so many, I know he will be missed throughout our communities!

Rick was a wonderful plumbler and fellow bowler , he always answered the the call for assistance with plumbing issues for me & my daughters . He was the Plumbling contractor for our house & he did and outstanding job that had lasted over 17 years . My husband and family will miss him greatly . He had the great work ethics you don’t see now and was committed to people in times of trouble . God bless Rick , and may he have a wonderful place in Gods kingdom.

Rick was my plumber for close to 25 years. I considered him a friend as well. . He could figure out any situation. “Just a minute, I’m thinking” he would say. He seemed to grasp the situation and you could see his mind going. How he approached my water issues in the old farm houses I have lived in was amazing. It was more like an adventure sometimes, like when he stopped work on my plumbing to help cut a huge willow down by tying on to a rope with his truck. He figured out how to keep it from falling on my house and miss the power lines and fences at the same time. He seemed invigorated by challenges. He helped me out and never was worried about payment. “Don’t worry, I know where you live” he would say. I will truly miss him. Illa, I am so sorry. I can’t imagine. I’m sending lots of prayers your way .

My sincere condolences to all that are left behind in Rick's absence. I have a great deal of respect for Rick. He provided free advice to this DIYer for home plumbing repairs. He was a man of integrity, caring, very knowledgeable and helpful. He is missed in both a business and personal level. Thanks Rick.

I really will miss my Plumber. Mostly over a 20+ business relationship, he is irreplaceable.

The last few years, we got to know him and Illa more, and have shared a more personal level of friendship. The lakedays, and sharing stories.

I'm already missing the morning calls to schedule jobs. The camaraderie, of being overloaded, and working through the expectations.
I'm really just sad about not pulling up to their boat on the weekends, to enjoy him and Illa.

There is so much to say, like your willingness to help people in need. Your untimely leave is felt throughout the community, and is told over and over again.

Godspeed my friend, until we meet again.
