In Memory of Dolores L. Kau

Shortly after, she and her twin sister enlisted and served in United States Army, stationed at Fort Monroe, Virginia and served for 2-1/2 years with honorable discharge. Dolores relocated to Southern California seeking to establish a career in administrative services and build lifelong friendships. She met her husband Harry, was soon married and shortly after started a family.
Her greatest enjoyments throughout life were her family, friends, sharing and perpetuating the knowledge, ways, crafts and beliefs of the Hawaiian culture, and a genuine care of helping people. A woman of many talents, she worked as executive assistant in administrative and human resources. Later in life, she would further her passion for the Hawaiian culture and enjoyed spending time with her 4 children, 5 grandchildren, family and many friends. She will be loved forever by all the lives she touched.

I met her many years ago when she worked at El Camino College. She was an absolutely sweet and charming lady.
