Sonia Victoria Marquez
Sonia Victoria Marquez, age 35, died on Monday January 1st at 10:24 p.m. at Harbor General UCLA. She was born on September 2nd 1982 in Downey California at Rio Hondo Hospital. Sonia loved life and was always playing, listening, or dancing to music. She loved to be surrounded by people, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her beautiful smile was infectious and her soul was kind and generous. Sonia is survived by her partner of 16 years, Adam Richard Roderick; three children Eric Angel Tollardo, Alaina Maria Roderick, Ivan Cesar Roderick; parents Angel & Mary Ledesma, Edward Marquez; and her siblings Lorena, Linda, Amber, Miranda, Cynthia and Anthony. Her beautiful soul has risen in paradise with our Lord and savior, but she will always be with us. Visitation will be Thursday, January 18th. From 2 – 7 at McNerney's Mortuary, with a rosary at 7 pm. A mass will be celebrated Friday January 19th at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in San Pedro, with burial to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
