July 25, 1930 - Nov. 25, 2017 Woodland Rosanne Roberts passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Stollwood Convalescent Hospital in Woodland, at the age of 87. Rosanne was born on July 25, 1930 in Marysville, to William and Winifred Greene. She had two siblings, William and Corliss. Rosanne attended school in Yuba City and received an associate's degree from Yuba College. Rosanne worked as a dental assistant, a substitute teacher, a dairy guide, an elementary school library assistant and a bookmobile driver, living in Walnut Creek, Ferndale, Lewiston, Oakley, Woodland and Davis. She and a friend also had a small importing business. In 1982, she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Sacramento, and was director of the Beamer Street treatment facility in Woodland. After retirement, she was an adult literacy and hospice volunteer. Rosanne was married to her first husband, Keith Bryant, for 19 years, and they had two children, Claire and Paul. Rosanne was married to her second husband, Guy Cherry, for nine years. Rosanne married her third husband, Lloyd Roberts, in 1985, and they enjoyed 28 years together. Rosanne liked to travel, paint, attend Broadway musicals and host family holidays. She and Lloyd built a house in Grass Valley in 1989, and lived there until 2008, when they moved first to Davis and then to Woodland. Rosanne is survived by her brother, William (Barbara) Greene, and sister, Corliss Payne. She is also survived by son, Paul (Janet) Bryant, and stepson, Doug (Lynda) Roberts; grandchildren, Matt, Forrest, Autumn, Allison and Jonathan, and multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; daughter, Claire (Luther) Findley, and stepson, Keith H. (Silvia) Roberts. A celebration of Rosanne's life will be held at 2 p.m., on Dec. 2, at the Stollwood Convalescent Hospital Chapel, 135 Woodland Ave. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Rosanne be made to a charity of your choice.
