Our thoughts and best wishes are with you all. It was a treat and a pleasure to know both your parents. When Joan and Anne bonded in earnest over the loss of their respective life partners, it was a rare pleasure for us all I believe to witness their ever increasing bond and camaraderie. It was heartwarming to view such a friendship based on mutual respect, and love of all things fun and good in life! Didier and I will remember Anne fondly for her wit, keen intellect and that mischievous sense of humor she liked to display. We will miss her dearly!! Hers was a very well lived life, and she was fortunate in her children.

As a good friend of Anne's youngest daughter, Laura, I came to know Anne (and Joe) many years ago. I have loved and admired Anne for her strength, her love of good things and her amazing ability to make me laugh - about so many things. I have many Anne sayings! Anne always put family first! When I moved to the U.K. and returned to NY for visits, whenever possible, I would make every effort to see Anne. She has given me lots of wonderful memories - and I will miss seeing and hearing her. But my life has been richer for knowing her - and the family whom we all knew she loved a lot. Anne's spirit will continue....and that's a wonderful thing!
