Very sad to hear that Hype passed. He was a dear friends. I loved the old duffer. He was like a father. I moved around the last couple of years in the Army and the ministry and did not call Hype but was glad when I reconnect with him in September. I am just sad I didn't get to speak to him one last time. He was truly a gem - a gentleman, and an all around good guy, "for a Marine." Hype was the kind of guy who couldn't do enough for you. Anytime you needed help his old pickup or Jeep would arrive and there he would be. My condolences to the family. I know Hype will be missed.

Talked to my mom this morning and she told me of Hypes passing. I remember him from when I was a kid. The motorcycles and a barbeque at your family's house. They played some sort of polka music. He was a good guy, and I am sure he will be missed. I am sorry to hear. My condolences to your family.

Mr. Giles I remember like it was yesterday you asked me to join you in a round of golf before I left to serve my country in the USAF. Sir you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family in Kingston. Rest in peace and Semper Fidelis Marine!!!

Love Always,
