William P. Amato LAKE KATRINE-William P. Amato, 65, of Lake Katrine, N.Y. and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 10th, 2017. Born on July 29, 1952, in New York, N.Y., he was the son of the late Salvatore and Lucienne (Martin) Amato. Bill married Catherine “Cay” Thorley in Westport, N.Y. in 1985, and Cay survives at home. Bill is also survived by his extended family, colleagues, and countless friends. Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made in William’s memory to the DAV.
