PALATINE - Memorial Visitation for Brian E. McIntyre, 59, of Palatine, will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2018 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Brian was born on November 7, 1958 to Frank and Patricia McIntyre. He passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Brian was a devoted father who loved the simple things in life. He enjoyed laughter, watching baseball, music and film, and taking long bike rides. He maintained patience and acceptance through life and loved being a grandfather. His genuine smile will be greatly missed. Brian is survived by his children, Amy (Carey) Primeau, Patrick McIntyre, Chris McIntyre, and Kasey McIntyre; grandchildren, Miles Primeau, and Leevye McIntyre; and his siblings, Thomas (Kim) McIntyre, and Lynn McIntyre. Brian, it was a pleasure to work with you and most of all, consider you a friend. I will miss talking with you about the Cubs and how we just looked, with that smile, when they won the World Series in 2016. Not a word needed to be spoken. The sheer joy and that twinkle in your eyes said it all. God bless you and your loving family.
