If all Dads were like him, the world would be awesome. You never know who you will meet in life and I am privledged to have been in Dons company and to see the man the raised two wonderful daughters. His smile and pleasant demeanor will be a memory for me. My sympathy to the entire family for the loss of his presence and know that his spirit will live on in each of you. Also it is interesting that I moved to Seattle very close to where he lived before moving to Illinois.

I worked with Sheila at the Vestavia Library years ago and got to know Don when he'd drop by...then saw him frequently at step aerobics at the former SportFirst. He always had a huge smile and so much enthusiasm! He loved his family and I know you are missing him so much. Thinking of you all and please send a hug to Sheila.

To The Family accept my sincere condolences you are not alone during this time of sorrow and pain. May God give your family strength and comfort to help you endure this loss. As you remember your beloved one, may the God of peace give you comfort and peace in every way. May you find Strength from the love and care of those that surrounds you and comfort in the memories that you and your loved one shared.
