Donna, my big sister; in the end all that ever matters is the memories we shared, the talks we had, the time we spent together, the love and respect we had for each other. Grief is love, the love we want to give, that gathers in the corners of our eyes, the lump in our throats and the hurt in our heart that no longer has anyplace to go. I miss you!

Donna loved her family, was forever loyal to all, and with her easy laugh, made all she met comfortable and happier. As one of her nurses, I witnessed Donna's grace and determination with her many health challenges. Her one goal when she was sick was to return to the "normal life" she loved, enjoying her family, friends, and coworkers. Her genuine caring and kindness to people was refreshing; after speaking with Donna, one always felt more hopeful. The little gifts that she would bring from Osco for my grandson were so thoughtful. My Friday afternoon clinic in Park Ridge will never be the same without a 3pm visit from my friend, Donna. She brightened the start of my weekend. My condolences go out to Ted, children, and grandchildren

Donna, I was so sad last night to hear of your passing. We grew up together as kids, cousins and family but life tends to separate us as we move thru life. We shared a lot of good times and sad ones too. After Paul and I moved to Kentucky, I remember you, Ted, Mel and Tom coming for a visit. Now that you're gone that will always be a special time, special memory. Rest in peace Donna. I know you have left a big hole in your family but you have also left many wonderful memories. My sympathy to Ted and all the family. Keeping them in my prayers.

My husband Jim and I enjoyed talking with Donna every time we visited the Jewel. She always gave Jim a hard time but he loved every minute of it. We will miss seeing her smiling face. May God bless her as she enters heaven and may He also bless her family on earth. Our most sincere condolences to her family.

Some people are nice then there was Donna. As a near daily visit to the Jewel she worked at made us familiar with one another, it wasn't until she saw me in a post on her nephew's social media that we really hit it off.
A more wonderful, caring and authentic person will be hard to find.
Thanks for being you Donna.
Rest in Peace.
