ST. CHARLES - Kenneth E. Steiner, age 91, died Tuesday, November 07, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 15, 1926 in Chicago, IL. The son of the late Jule and Florence Steiner. He was an Army Veteran Serving in WWII. He was a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the St. Charles Moose and the Wayne Township Seniors. He is survived by children, Michael Steiner of Lombard, William Steiner of Newport Beach, CA, Susan Sullivan of Downers Grove, Sheryl Steiner of Eureka, CA. Eleven loving grand-children, fourteen wonderful great-grandchildren. Also a sister, Jean Buttles. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife Joan in 2012. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 6:00 P.M. at Yurs Funeral Home, 1771 W. State St. (Route 38), Geneva. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at St. Patrick Crane Road Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayne Township Seniors, 27W031 North Ave., West Chicago, IL 60185. Kenny was my boss since I was in high school. He was one of the best guys in the world.easy going and quick with a joke..no one told me of his passing or I would have been there..he will be missed..he gave me my nick name. Rocko. My name is Ron Miskanis..late condolensed to his family

My wife and I are members of Wayne Township Seniors and we have known Ken and his late wife Joan for several years.
You have our deepest sympathy for the lost of Ken. Now that his suffering is over, I am sure he is enjoy his eternal life with Joan.
God bless him and Joan and we will remember them in our prayers.
