Juliann and Amy, your mom and dad were such special people and we were so thankful to know them both. They were thoughtful and generous neighbors and we will always remember their cheerful greetings and the wonderful home cooking that they shared with our family. We are thinking of you and your families as you say goodbye to your beautiful mom. Wishing you comfort and peace as you celebrate her extraordinary life.

I met Maureen 67 years ago in 1st grade and we became "best friends"! She had such a unique sense of humor. Last week we talked about baking Christmas cookies, she loved to bake just like her Mother. I will miss her very, very much, we loved seeing movies together. Rest in peace my dear friend, I love you.

When I heard that Maureen had passed away my first thought was of her girls, and then her grandkids. I knew that Maureen was fine, she was with Frank. I knew that a life lived with a level of excellence like Maureen well, heaven was open. A friend to many, someone with a quick wit but also quick to lend a hand or a shoulder. When ever I would run into Maureen in the lunch room I could feel a big smile form because I knew I would have some time with a good friend. We often laughed and then cried over what ever the discussion of the day was. Spending time with Maureen was a treat, but you all know that. Her love for her kids and grandkids was her absolutely favorite topic. When I had my first granddaughter she had tears in her eyes as she gave me a hug and asked all about her. To her beautiful amazing daughters, never believe that your Mom lives in the pictures on the wall, she lives on in every smile, every single good day that you have, and she is there as well in the difficult days ahead. Please know that you are in my prayers, may God watch over you and comfort your families.
