I am still in shock ... but as I gather myself, I can say that Rick was first a mentor then a friend.

He helped me become a better manager. So much so, that to this day, I take anything for granted I am reminded of when he said "... If you expect you must inspect ...".

The joy and excitement that he approached every day will be missed!

It is sad news to hear of Rick's passing. Just last year, September '16, we were together during our high school reunion. And as I will always remember him he showed that familiar smile on his face-the one that said: "I know, I've got this covered". For me, Rick set the right example for us through his honorable actions. To his family and loved ones, please accept my heartfelt condolences.

I will miss my dear boyhood friend very much. Together we attended 1st grade through graduation at Metuchen High School. Rick lived one block away and we were able to walk to and from school daily all those years.

A super person, like Rick, that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.Please accept my condolences, Rick will not be forgotten.

Prayers and fond memories are what we have to remember.

I am at a loss. I went to St. Francis School and Metuchen High with Rick. At our 50th Reunion in 2016 we laughed and talked about old times. Maureen Comiskey and I would pick him up for school every morning in our senior year. My heart is broken. So sorry for your loss. Ann Marie Bushman Prytula and Stanley Prytula.
