Simply the finest leader I've ever had the honor to work for... his first speech to his staff about his priorities have stayed with me ever since, and that have guided my life since. God rest your soul, my friend... rest easy knowing you've trained us well, and we have the watch...

What a great officer, commander, husband and father! Having just buried Dad and our daughter this year, we share your intense grief. May the Creator of the universe and His only begotten Son bring you comfort in the coming months. Gary and Kristyn Rafferty,

One of the greatest leaders I've ever served with... the lessons he taught me and the example he set shaped my career... and I wasn't the only one.
"Accomplish the mission, mentor your people, and have fun" have become the watchwords of my life.
I'll miss him, but will see him again some day.

My condolences to the Summers family. I graduated from high school with Bob and was happy to have the opportunity to speak with him at our 50th reunion last September and thank him for his service. He was one of the good guys. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
