Eddie & Tim, it has been more than 40 years since we last spoke. I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. She and your late father, like my own parents, were the epitome of a faithful, Christian life dedicated to serving our Lord and others. While I know you mourn her passing, both of you and your families were greatly blessed to have both of them in your lives for such a long period of time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time.

Growing up on Howard Court with the Whitlock family as next door neighbors, was a blessing. Edd was like a second Mom at times. She would scold me if I needed it and in the next second give me a hug! She was a good friend and neighbor to all of my family. Eddie & Tim my deepest condolence.

Edd, 1943
My dear Aunt Edd is also survived by one sister, Barbara Lee Pearson Stortz Jobe of Newport News. Edd was predeceased by one brother, Gordon Trout Pearson, and three sisters: Laura Estelle Pearson Pace; Virginia Marian Pearson Burcher; and Berkeley Hope Pearson Presson.
My sisters and I were the lucky nieces of all of those Pearson siblings. We have so many loving memories of them all, and especially Aunt Edd at this time. She was a kind and beautiful spirit.
Love from Ginny's family and from Dave

Aunt Edd was a dear, sweet, kind, patient, and caring person. I cherish her memory from my earliest age, and through-out my life. She always made me feel loved, as she cared for all her nieces and nephews.
Her treasures were her wonderful husband and sons, and their families.
We will always treasure her memory.
