My memories of gran are too many and varied to tell all. But a few of my favorites are shopping with her for a doll for every Christmas until I turned eighteen, attending tea parties with lovely china and frilly dresses well into womanhood, learning to fry chicken (and getting fussed at for stealing pieces while she cooked), and curling up on the couch with a movie, a Pepsi, and a handful of Cheez-Its before bed. Through every memory, I remember her laughter and love. I already feel her absence, and I will cherish each remembrance with a little bit of heartache. I loved her so much.

Christine definitely received the gifts of the spirit with her love, joy, goodness, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, humility and self control....she possess them all. Her laughter and smiles will be missed. Thank you Christine for all of your good meals and opening your home to us. We love you.

She was warm and accepted our family into her home every time we came over. It's because of her loving personality that I can be even a small part of the Martin/George/France/Brown family. The group of people she raised are my favorite people in the whole world to be around and she can never know how much she meant to me and my family. Love always!

Uncle J, Jimmy, David & Tammy: Aunt Christine was a mother to all of us. She had the most magnificent heart and I will miss her tremendously. I think about when she came to see me in Hawaii and how she loved sitting out and getting her tan. Reminds me of when we were little and she would take us to the beach. I know she's in heaven and still watching over all of us.

I am saddened to hear of Christine's passing and send condolences to my childhood friend Jimmy and the family. I will always remember her as a young woman and mother and I have the pictures of her with the neighborhood lasses arm in arm in the snow on 33rd Street. May God keep her in his care.

Dear Jimmy and Patsy and Family,
We were very sad to hear of Jimmy's mother passing. She was a wonderful lady and her brother was a dear friend of mine. His name was Harold Kimbo Jones. What a great athlete, storyteller and my idol as a kid watching him play for dear old NNHS. Jimmy, you have always been something special to me. I remember your playing baseball and you had your little dog with you. We will remember Christine as Kimbo's great cook. He had dinner with her every Sunday. Jimmy, thanks so much for being my friend. God bless you at this time of sorrow but remember, she is in Heaven waiting for us. Much love, Mickey and Carol Marcella
