Don was everything his obituary said he was. The Southport community will miss his pleasantries. Many of us could look out our windows and see him returning from his daily walk after work. I missed spending the last three fourth of July's with he and Helen, and now I will miss seeing him around and about the community. Helen, you and I can hope he and Luther will be catching up on things.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know his family will miss him. Me and his wife Helen have been friends for a long time. He was a great man to his family. Prayers for the family. April Henderson

I did not know Mr Simkins, just happen to see what he passed away from. I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in September of this year & it's really hitting me hard. Don't know how long your precious loved one lived after being diagnosed. I know it's advances fast & I'm terrified. I'm very sorry for your loss & you will be in my deepest thoughts & prayers.
