Norma and I were sad to hear of my cousin Edward Earl's death this week. Edward Earl and Donald Lee were like the big brothers I never had. I remember as a very young child going to visit them in Yorktown and seeing all the Yankee baseball memorabilia on the wall in his room and listening to a Yankees game on the radio with him and Uncle Earl. As a nine-year-old, I remember going with Aunt Dorothy to watch Edward Earl play football at Hampton High. That was my introduction to the Crabbers. I remember Edward Earl joining the Army and going off to the Korean Conflict and how excited I was when I heard the Conflict was over and he would be coming home. I remember riding around in his Ford convertible in downtown Hampton and when we crossed the Hampton Creek Bridge, my baseball cap blew off. I remember watching him play semi-pro baseball. I have so many wonderful memories of Edward Earl and all my Tyndall cousins. My sincere condolences to Edward Earl's entire family. He was a wonderful cousin.

My condolences to the Tyndall family. Mr. Tyndall was a great asset to the Northampton baseball and football community. He will always have a special place in my heart for his passion to teach the kids of Northampton. Eddie, Mike ,Carol and Tricia we all know he was a special man. Keeping y'all in my thoughts and prayers.

A loss is never easy but we all have such fond memories of Mr. Tyndall. These memories will live on in our hearts and mind. For us, we knew Mr. Tyndall would always be there at any sporting event we attended. You could always count on it! He was also such a strong pillar in our community. All of us were able to enjoy the fruits of his labor in the Northampton Athletic Association.

To the Tyndall family, we will continue to keep all of you in our thoughts & prayers.
